This unique boarding is made from recycled Sorghum plants. Sorghum is the plant that molasses is made of. It also has a very durable stem that is harnessed after the plant has exhausted its life and pressed between sheets of particle wood. Strong and durable, Kirei (pronounced KEE-ray) will add a unique ambiance to any atmosphere.
This composite is a unique bio-based material, which exhibits the beauty and elegance of traditional burled woods. The material is created from an agricultural fiber, sunflower hulls, making this a beautiful environmental option to hardwood. sunflower boards can be used naturally or stained with conventional wood stains to achieve a wide range of distinctive colors. Stained or natural, sunflower boards offer a beautiful, visually textured alternative to traditional wood.
