It has been said that it would take three Earths to provide the resources necessary for China to develop on the same scale as the current consumption level of the United States. We don't have three Earths - and that's only China! We are the last generations who will have any choice about whether to be green - or to survive. Future generations - assuming we do survive - are likely to look back and wonder why it took so long for us to "get" it. But every resource we save today is available for someone else tomorrow.

We want to apply this ethic of saving not only to our building supplies, but even to our website. The host for this site uses renewable wind energy to power their computers and backup! We believe in integrity with our products as well as our business. That's why we prefer recycled papers over pre-consumer papers, drive hybrid cars (looking forward to the electric cars return) and we try in every way to remain aware of our environment. We believe with many small and smart choices we all can make a difference and ease our mark on the planet, to preserve it for our future. We are Build it Naturally. We are thrilled to be located in Western North Carolina, where a lot of people share our values. The Appalachian Mountains historically have been home to peoples who have learned to live with the land - and we want to join their legacy. And as part of the thriving city of Asheville, a tourist haven for two centuries, we are proud to showcase our values to visitors from around the world.
